The House

Few man entered the House on the other side of the street as usual and as usual they all ran out after ten minutes staying inside. Their running was accompanied by a loud shrill screaming.Everything was running its used way was the only thought in Mr. Tenners head, while i may remark that the most remarkable thing about Mr. Tenner was that he actually did do nothing but watching the house on the other side of t he road. The most interesting thing about this house on the other side is that a woman named Mrs. Raynold lived there she was 150 years old which in its self is not that remarkable at all, but the thing with her is she still lives in her normal house and never left it since her 65th birthday which marked the day since when Mr. Tenner watched this. but only slowed down, for this exact reason did the society not want to see the Well in this time, country and society everyone which is above 64 years old has to live in encampments which are called living centers. The shocking truth is that this society does not like to reminded of aging in itself and the fact of that you are not going to be looking good for the rest of your live. (The age 65 would be an equivalent of about 30 years in the year 2000 or at least you would think that this 65 year old person would be about 30.)The society was created around looking perfect since medicine made fat, unattractive etc. practically non-existent did the one problem aging remain. Since the aging process could never be reversedinevitable which was they were going to age. Thus the most logical solution was to ban all the old people above 65 out of the daily live and bring them somewhere 'safe' and 'helpful'. Only few 65 years old wanted to stay and actually resisted the authorities and since death and/or seeing and old person would be worse did the government agree to give her everything she needed and thus keeping her in the house. Mrs. Raynold was not actually 150 years but of tomorrow she would that was when her birthday, while the buys running out of thew house where the suppliers. But tomorrow would be Mr. Tenners day the day on which he would be brought to the 'place' nobody actually knew what was going on there but only that all people above 64 were brought there. He had already heard many stories about what would happen with the people there some said that you were made to food like in some movie (to which in some past was a book too) then there is the theory. That they used the people there for all kinds of experiments for food, clothing etc. but that did not make a whole lot of sense. In the end nobody actually knew what was going on at the 'place' which was promised and promoted so much. At the next morning there was a knocking on the door in front of which a young man was standing with a clipboard he read of the board :”Mr. Tenner this is your 65th birthday yes?” Mr. Tenner just nodded since it was very early in the morning still looking over at the house. He was let by the man towards the car and heard the man talking to a boy that apparently wanted to know what was going on “...these old people are unpredictable and you never know how dangerous they are...” this made Mr. Tenner somewhat sad because he knew he would never see his family again. Then after he entered the car which almost immediately began to move, then the house began to glide slowly out of side, until it finally disappeared behind a corner. Then after a couple minutes after Mr. Tenners estimate did they reach a big building which seemed very friendly and... white. The door opened and he turned around to look into the eyes of a younger man that told him:” Go on old man there is nothing to be afraid of” while he was saying that his eyes stayed entirely neutral without a hind of mercy in them. So Mr. Tenner slowly moved through the door and then finally opened it, he slowly he stood up in the sun which was warming his back. Then he began to walk slowly towards the door which was big enough to fit the biggest ships in there when he reached the door was the first thing that he noticed that it was closed, so he turned around towards the car from which he had just come but it had disappeared. Then a soft voice from his left said:” How may I help you Mr. Tenner this voice seemed to originate from the booth to his left in which a very young and attractive woman sad, she seemed to be waiting just for his and only his response. “Today is my 65th birthday and they brought me here.” She just nodded and answered “I know that but the question how can I help you because we want to know what you need to be happy.”
