B.C. or B.C.E. which one is better?

B.C. (Before Christ) is as far as I'am concerned better, because it at least shows that it is a way which the christians use to calculate time.
While B.C.E. must be insulting to other cultures and religions since it states 'Before Common Era' something that implies that everyone calculates time, with the birth of Christ as fixed point in time.
