How to walk...

It seems that the human slowly loses his/her ability to walk this is prooven by the permanent use of cars of similar vehicles in situations in which it would not have been trouble to walk or ride with a bike. What makes it neccasery to use the car to get the mail or to get to the job when the bicycle or feet would have worked too? If one uses the car for those purposes than one should keep in mind that a car waights on average between one and two metric tons, this weight has to be moved as well, why does one need this, isn't that the kind of lazyness that could cost us dearily later?

What is the difference between this and that human?

What causes masses to kill each other?
What is the reason that one human states that he/she is better than another one?
What causes this thinking?

Humans are one species but that does not stop them from killing and hating each other, brutality in any form appears in all the 'developed' areas of the world while most 'primitive' tribes do not hate other tribes or consider someone who looks different then they do as a threat. What makes us so much less capable of dealing with other human beings?
The main difference between our picture and that of the 'primitive' tribe is that they (the tribe) do not see other humans as something different but as humans. We on the other hand see someone with a different language then ours or with a different skin color as different and thus as an unknown. The unknown is something that the human is the most scared of, humans have tried to rid themselves from this fear by eliminating unknowns, something that has only limited success. But than the humans found another way of destroying unknowns which is destroying the object that can not be explained, the argument then would be that when the unknown is destroyed than the unknown can not endanger the humans that destroyed it. This approach has caused a great deal of destruction and death, is this why we named our own races current development state 'Homo Sapiens Sapiens' which means Whise Whise Man. What would thought of a man living on top of a mountain entirely alone stating that he was a Whise Whise Man would he be taken serioulsy or rather be considered crazy and sent to asylum. Is our race ready for the asylum?

Logic and its troubles

Recent events as well as articles written by many sources (probably including this one) have lacked logic. The average person does not ask or wonder about those problems, (mainly because of the lack of education in that area, this is not to mean that you have to be smart but that schools, do not teach philosophy and critical thinking. That with that most people do not learn how to ask questions and how to see through false arguments.) The war on Terror is one of the best examples because all logic would dictate that the only way to solve that issue would be to support understanding and thus reduce hatred and fear. Since man fears everything that is unknown but can easily adjust if dealing with something that can be understood, which is that the average Islam and Christian person have many things incommon. For one these would be the love for family and surely the strong dislike towards taxes and Bosses.
But all these points are not the reason fir this article so I apologize for being carried away, this article concerns itself (which it admittedly can't, only the writer can concern oneself with something) with the troubles logic is encountering today. Logic is being twisted and turned by fanatics and people that just don't care about the impact that their words might have, or they just like the power that these words give to the speaker. The only way of finding out misinformation is to analyze the written text and then to cross-reference it with information available that already had been verified. A great book concerning itself with that is 'Crimes against logic' by Jamie Whyte. It is easy to read and can show the wholes that commonly appear in reasoning. The book is written in the same way a conversation would be held which makes the reading experience very personal and even though that one reads a monologue one has the feeling to be part of the conversation.

Religions and war

It is curious that something that attempts to teach love and understanding, becoming cause of many wars. I would even be so bold as to state that religion has caused almost every war, religions seem to have the problem of attracting a certain kind of person. These people would be defined as fanatics, these fanatics often tend to illogical thinking which then justifies all their actions taken. These actions often go against the religion that they used to justify their action in the first place. There is actually only one religion that does not teach love, this religion would be 'capitalism' a relgion which seems to be the only religion that managed to coexist with many other religions. Capitalism even managed to become a state religion (of the U.S.), this relgion has only one goal, this goal would be the aquesition of capital this capital can be seen in the form great buildings and big bank accounts some times as servants and similar as well. Capitalism even though coexisting with other religions has managed to push the other religions aside which means anyone that is a capitalist can be bought, honor or soul have no real value. Why is it that even though our technology advanced we never did, relgion is still the major factor of change ot reaction in this society, when one religion steps back as we see it in the last one hundred years then it is replaced almost immidiatly by anotherone one that is different and better to incorporate in our current way of living. Why is it that the most recent religion is very aggressive even more so than any religion that made it to the 'top' of the religious mountain this new religion is not just hard on its opponents it is as well very hard on the believers or the people that life together with the believers. In this religion only some can life well while the greater portion of the population has to life in poverty and sickness while having only a small fraction of what the 'rich' part of the population has. Why is it that so many have to suffer so that so few can actually life in the most comfortable way, even though it is the rest that makes it possible for the few rich to life so well.

P.S.: I know what this text sounds like, it sounds as if Karl Marx or Joseph Stalin maybe even Moa started talking again but it is none the less true, I personaly would like to see a hybrid of both systems instead of the vendetta which was fueled so strongly by the capitalists and communists. A hybrid system that allows the reward of hard work and as well guarantees a good minimum way of living.

Engine maintenance

Engines seem to have become a machine that is supposed to work, independent of the damages this machine has suffered. Any machine has to be maintained in order to work and function properly, meaning without explosions of sudden shut downs (only some examples).
But this is not the only consideration that has to be made concerning the cars maintenance, the other which might be even more important is the which concerns one's environment which suffers under the badly maintained engine. The greatest problem of the not well maintained engine is the oil leak something that for one can cause severe damage to the machine due to insufficient cooling or lubrication, the second problem which is even greater is the effect the oil has on the water and environment after having left the car or boat. (Most engines use water as main coolant)
The oil having left the car engine often enters the freshwater supply something that impacts on the health of every life-form drinking from that countermanding water supply. Boats 'only' destroy sealife something that is considered less important by most sailors as it appears, but the truth is that the ocean life and the streams in the ocean affect the every region of the planet.
Why is it that many people either don't care or justify the cost to the environment with too great expanses caused by good maintenance. (In my opinion someone who is not able to affort the maintenance of an engine should not use one.)

Next-Gen. DVD's

HD-DVD and Blu Ray have been competing for the costumers heart, but now the battle of the Next Generation DVD's is about to go onto the field of Home Entertainment. Blu-Ray with 25GB in sinlge layer and 50GB in Double layer while HD-DVD 'only' offers 45GB, to compare a CD offers 700MB, a DVD R+- around 4.7 GB and the DVD R-+DL around 9.4. The Blu-RAY is the Japanese (Sony) DVD while HD-DVD is considered to be the American DVD. The drives for bith DVD's are supposed to have backwards compatibility (at least until DVD, CD's might get pushed off...).
HD-DVD is announced to start soon while the Blu-Ray will not appear before the summer maybe even later (both are already running late as it is...).

The Electrical Car

The electric car a success that failed

The first electric engine was developed in 1830 this paved the way for the electric car developed by Thomas Davenport. (American)
The first electric car was developed by Robert Anderson of Scotland between 1832 and 1839 (no exact date is known) this car was a carriage with an electric engine.
The next one was in 1835 by Professor Stratingh of Groningen, Holland and his assistant Christopher Becker (this one was only a model). Practical and more successful electrical cars were invented by both Thomas Davenport (American) and Robert Davidson (Scottish) in 1842, both operated with non-rechargeable batteries. This flaw could be changed in 1859 when the first rechargeable battery was invented by Gaston Plante. (French) The rechargeable battery or second battery at that time was improved around 1880 by Camille Faure. (French)
France and Britain were the first nations to support widespread development of electric vehicles, in the late 1800's. In 1899, a Belgian ,named Camille Jenatzy, built a electric racing car called “La Jamais Contente” this vehicle set a new world record in speed (68.8 mph) and as well broke the 100km/h barrier.
The Americans noticed the electrical car in 1895, this became noticeable in 1897 when a fleet of New York taxis built by Electric Carriage and Wagon Company of Philadelphia was put into action.
(This taxi fleet was 100% electrical and rechargeable.)
1900 cars were available with steam engine, electrical, and gasoline, this was the as well the high time for the electrical car in America. The electrical car outsold all other types at this point and had many advantages. The distance record for electrical cars was set by BGS which car could drive 180 miles on a single charge.
They did not have the vibrations the others had, nor did they smell or produced noise associated with gasoline cars. Changing gears was not necessary (gasoline cars), the steam car did not need a gear shift either but it took up to 45 minutes to start-up (on a cold morning). The steam car as well did not have the range the electrical car offered with a single charge, the only good streets at this time were in cities limiting car travel even further.
In 1902 the Wood's Phaeton was little more than a electrical horse carriage but it had a range of 18 miles and a top speed of 14 mph (prize 2000$). Later in 1916 Woods invented a hybrid car that had a combustion engine as well as a electrical.
Electrical cars ranged from 1000$ to 3000$ by 1910, they also enjoyed success in the 1920's the production peaked in 1912.
Reasons for decline: Better street systems created the need for long-range vehicles, the discovery of crude oil in Texas made oil cheaper, the invention of the electrical starter made
the hand crank unnecessary, the mass production of internal combustion engine vehicles by Henry Ford made these vehicles available and affordable.
The electrical car had almost entirely disappeared by 1935.
1960 GM began working on Electovair, a converted Corvair and Ford began development of their sodium-sulfur based battery but neither managed to financially justify the costs to push the technology.
Boyertown Auto Body Works jointly formed the Battronic Truck Company with Smith Delivery Vehicles Ltd., of England and the Exide Devision of the Electric Battery Company. The first Battronic electric truck was delivered in 1964 its top speed was 25mph and the range was 62 miles under a payload of 2,500 pounds.
Battronic worked with General Electric from 1973 to 1983 to produce 175 utility vans, Battronic also developed and produced about 20 passenger buses in the mid 1970's.
In 1975, the United States Postal Service purchased 350 electric delivery vans from the American Motor Company to be used in a test program. These vans had a range of 40 miles at a speed of 40 miles even though they could reach 50 miles.
The electric car has not regained its old glory yet even though it is used more and more especially in services as, taxis, buses, postal services and private users.
The electric engine has always been the most efficient and cleanest, (depending on source of electricity) the main weakness of the electrical car always has been range.
