Teachers little Test 1

The following test has a very specific purpose, this purpose would be to test the knowledge of teachers. This test can be used on History and Social Studies Teachers...have fun!

Answer Key:

1. Jerusalem was not part of the new Jewish State because it was to contested and the UN felt that adding
Jerusalem to the Jewish state would be to dangerous.

5. The battle of Trafalgar (Lord Nelson died in this battle after being wounded by a bullet shot by a sniper which is ironical because Lord Nelson thought snipers were no good and that they were the main cause for fire in the sails.)

6. The greatest shock for the British concerning the Germans behaviour was that they went down with their ships instead of accepting help offered to them by the British.

7. Romulus and Remus were brothers...Remus killed Romulus.

8. Remus named Rome after Romulus to honor his now dead brother.(They supposedly were as well taken in by a wolf which then nourished them until they became teenagers.)

9. Julius Ceasar conquered Rome without fighting but with his army and started ruling the Roman Empire from there. (The Senate remained but had no power.)

11. The water was mainly transported form the Alps were the water was clean and fresh.
